Thomas J. Benjamin
Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Tom Benjamin has nearly 15 years of experience providing strategy, development, and management of corporate and association grassroots campaigns. As co-founder and Managing Partner of OnPoint, Benjamin leverages that experience to provide all aspects of operational oversight of the firm. Since launching OnPoint, Benjamin has spearheaded major client campaigns in the agriculture, energy, health care, and transportation sectors.
Prior to joining OnPoint Advocacy, Benjamin spent 10 years at The Direct Impact Company, one of the then-largest grassroots campaign firms in the nation. Benjamin served as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Strategy, where he was responsible for the company’s business-development and marketing efforts. Earlier at Direct Impact, he guided many large client campaigns on issues ranging from international trade to medical liability reform to defense appropriations.
Additionally, Benjamin spent a year in Brussels, Belgium, providing grassroots campaign consulting to Direct Impact’s parent company, Burson-Marsteller, and its European client base.
Benjamin received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Villanova University.
